About Us, and our Website...

This site was created on September 1st 2009

I have been playing with this old software for a few years now (something to occupy those sleepless nights), wanting to create our own Web Site. The reason being is that we are free all of the other pre made guidelines, advertisements, templates, and can not be challenged or rated on any of them. However we do want to share the details of our humble old Chevy's.
A glorified personal internet forum garage.

Each vehicle has an individual profile consisting of a Spec, History, and Photo Albums pages, showing what we have and have done with them. All vehicle history previous to September 2009 is based on memory with limited available pictures. From September on to present day each vehicle profile will be updated as necessary. A current list of our most recent site activities can be viewed here at Web Site Updates.

  • Our Projects,
    • are true daily drivers, rain or shine. Including freak summer blizzards in Wyoming dropping 6 inches of snow on the road, and with only 4 inches of header clearance in the
el Camino, What a wild ride!!
    • are limited as we are not a fully equipped shop and have nowhere else to work, but we do what we can in our driveway. Basically, all but big projects like spraying.
    • Pollution factor....
      • if not in a good running state, they simply are not driven.
      • Fuel economy... close to your modern SUV or minivan, if not already there. But we do not have fuel injection to compensate for inefficient driving habits, however they are in the plans for upgrades.
      • Why melt it down and make a new car when some machine work and a few parts can revive it for years to come. We Reduce by Reusing then Recycle.
    • We Tread Lightly, mudding is not done where it is not permitted which leaves our mudding adventures few and far between. Hence a film coat of the last mudding adventure is usually left on the rig as a badge of honor. We are NOT nature vandals.
  • Advertising and Sponsoring
    • We do mention brand names as we have installed/utilized these on one or more of our projects, however we are not advertising for any of these companies, as we do not receive any royalties, discounts or kickbacks of any kind. However, we are very open to the idea and can easily add in direct links and banners.
